Frequently asked questions

How is an online bank transfer different from a standard bank transfer?
The customer chooses a bank on the payment page, while the recipient, amount and transfer reference are passed automatically. Once approved, dpay receives the transaction status, so the shop does not have to match the payment manually by account number and reference.
Does the customer need their bank's mobile app?
Not always. Depending on the device and the selected bank's process, the customer can continue in online banking or in the mobile app. The bank determines the sign-in and any additional payment confirmation steps.
Which banks are available to the payer?
The payment page shows the banks enabled in the current configuration of your account, including commercial and cooperative banks. The list may change as individual bank connections become available or unavailable.
What happens if the customer abandons the payment or the bank rejects it?
The transaction does not receive a paid status. You can check its current result in the dpay dashboard and through the integration; the order should only be fulfilled after payment confirmation. The customer can start a new attempt.
How much does it cost to accept an online bank transfer?
The standard rate is 0.89% of the payment amount, with a minimum fee of PLN 0.20 and no monthly subscription for gateway access. If your account has an individual offer, its terms apply; current standard rates are always listed on the pricing page.
How and where can I launch online bank transfers?
After registering and verifying your business and sales channel, you enable the method in your integration. Online bank transfers can run in the dpay payment form, on a page adapted to your brand or on a separate payment collection page.
