What does a customer need to pay with Apple Pay?
They need a compatible Apple device and an eligible card added to Apple Wallet. Availability depends on the country, device and card issuer. When Apple Pay is available, the customer selects it during checkout.
Does the customer enter their card number on the payment page?
No. The customer selects a card saved in Apple Pay and confirms with Face ID, Touch ID or the device passcode. Apple states that the actual card number is not shared with the merchant.
How is Apple Pay provided by dpay?
Apple Pay is available on the dpay payment page as part of card acceptance. We confirm merchant availability and activation requirements during onboarding.
Does the shop need to integrate directly with Apple?
A shop using the dpay payment page does not build the entire Apple Pay payment flow from scratch. The exact configuration depends on the selected integration model, the shop domain and the arrangements made during activation.
